Noi (un gruppo di 8 amici di Wimbledon, Londra) abbiamo trascorso un pomeriggio meraviglioso e informativo alla Franchini Agricola, nella splendida campagna, scoprendo la sua lunga storia vinicola nella zona della Valpolicella Classica appena fuori Verona. Abbiamo assaggiato alcune ottime varietà di Valpolicella e assaggiato deliziosi salumi e formaggi e salumi locali. Un ringraziamento particolarmente grande alla nostra brillante e stimolante guida Sonia che ha reso l'esperienza così speciale e piacevole.

Degustazione di vini e vini sono stati un'esperienza eccellente. Abbiamo anche portato a casa alcune bottiglie. Successivamente ho comprato dell'altro vino da consegnare ad Amsterdam. Tutto era a 5 stelle. La degustazione, i vini, il servizio in loco, al telefono, nelle email. Gusteremo il nostro Amarone, il ripasso e il recioto. Grazie mille.

Un luogo magico immerso nella natura di Negrar, dove la trasformazione dell'uva e la storia ne fanno da padrone.Una degustazione esclusiva accompagnata da formaggio e salumi artigianali con una splendida compagnia, un mix che ha trasformato la giornata in un ricordo indimenticabile.

Bellissima esperienza di degustazione con visita alla cantina molto particolare anche se piccola, guidati da Sonia molto brava nelle spiegazioni interessanti... mi ha colpito il Valpolicella Classico Superiore Sedese Doc, da provare!

Piccola cantina sulle colline di Negrar (versante est)La visita è stata molto piacevole sia per l’ottima accoglienza da parte del gentilissimo e preparatissimo personale della cantina stessa, sia per quanto riguarda la grande qualità dei vini proposti in degustazione, con l’aggiunta anche di qualche piccolo extra non concordato in fase di prenotazione.Mi sarei aspettato un prezzo leggermente inferiore sull’ acquisto dei vini direttamente in loco, ma la stesso prezzo si può trovare anche su alcuni siti specializzati.Comunque sia ottima esperienza da cinque stelle!Se siete in zona vale la pena farci un salto.

Ottima visita.La descrizione della zona, in francese, di Caterina è stata perfetta.Notevoli i vini degustati e il lavoro svolto dalla vendemmia all'imbottigliamento.Un'esperienza grandiosa.

Non posso che lasciare 5 stelle per la la nostra esperienza in Agricola Franchini.Accoglienza molto calorosa, visita del vigneto e della cantina molto belli e sempre accompagnati dalle preziose spiegazioni di Sonia, che è stata gentilissima fin da subito (si è anche assicurata che la nostra cagnolina avesse dell'acqua, può sembrare un gesto piccolo, ma non è da tutti).La degustazione è stata altrettanto meravigliosa, assaggiando dei grandi vini capendo di più quello che sta dietro alla filosofia di questa piccola cantina.Ricorderemo a lungo questa location meravigliosa nel cuore della Valpolicella, ma soprattutto le persone che ci hanno accolto con così tanta genuinità e passione per quello che fanno.Alla prossima!

Ho visitato questo luogo stupendo con mia sorella e la mia cagnolina. L’accoglienza è stata fin dal primo istante meravigliosa. Sonia ha guidato noi e una coppia nella visita dei vigneti e della cantina. Abbiamo in seguito degustato 6 vini. Che dire, un vino più buono dell’altro, accompagnati da tanta passione e spiegazioni che hanno reso ancora più unica una cornice di per sé già perfetta. Grazie per l’ospitalità, è raro trovare persone così sincere e felici di trasmettere la loro passione. Location stupenda, vino che ci ha lasciate senza parole! Non vediamo l’ora di tornare. Un caro saluto dalla Svizzera 😊

Siamo stati il 22 aprile, io e il mio migliore amico, e devo dire che un' esperienza migliore non poteva capitarci.Cantina fantastica, non solo bellissima ma ti senti a casa, forse perché è a conduzione familiare, e grazie anche alla nostra "guida" Caterina, mette subito a proprio agio gli ospiti, veramente bravissima, molto empatica, preparata e appassionata davvero.Tantissimi complimenti a lei e al Sig. Franchini per la sua cantina.Se andate in Valpolicella dovete fare da loro la degustazione.

Ottima esperienza. La signora Caterina è stata molto gentile ed esaustiva nella presentazione dei loro vigneti, delle lavorazioni dell'uva e dei vini. Durante l'ottima degustazione è stata impeccabile nel servirci ed illustrarci i prodotti. Ottimi vini, complimenti, consigliato.

SUPER ESPERIENZA GRAZIE AD ERICA!L'11 agosto abbiamo deciso di fare una degustazione di vini nel territorio della Valpolicella, e ci siamo recati nella cantina dei Franchini, che dire, una piacevole scoperta. Una bella sorpresa, onestamente capitati per caso, abbiamo scoperto un piccolo gioiellino, all'interno di un edificio del 1400 questa cantina propone ottimi vini, in un ambiente confortevole in cui è possibile degustare diverse proposte, accompagnate da un piatto di salumi e un personale molto competente. Prezzi medio alti ma giustificati dalla qualità del prodotto. Segnalo l'antica ghiacciaia sotto terra in cui sono conservati i vini della loro collezione personale .

Siamo capitati una domenica di fine ottobre, seguendo le "cantine aperte della Valpolicella", siamo rimasti molto molto contenti dell'accoglienza nonostante non avessimo prenotato. Degustazione di vini di nostro gradimento, soprattutto l'Amarone riserva doc. Assieme alla degustazione abbiamo apprezzato anche il tagliere di salumi nostrano, oltre l'accoglienza e la preparazione della ragazza che ci ha accolto, c'è una vista meravigliosa e la location ti fa sentire in buona compagnia.Grazie

We (a group of 8 friends from Wimbledon, London) had a wonderful and informative afternoon at Franchini Agricola in beautiful countryside learning about its long wine making history in the Valpolicella Classico area just outside Verona. We tasted some excellent varieties of Valpolicella and sampled delicious cold cuts of local cheese and salami. Particularly big shout out to our brilliant and inspiring guide Sonia who made the experience so special and enjoyable.

Winetasting and wines ware an excellent experience. We also took some bottles home. Later bought some more wine to be delivered in Amsterdam. Everything was 5-star. The tasting, the wines, the service on site, on the telephone, in emails. We will enjoy our Amarone, ripasso and recioto. Thank you very much.

Beautiful cellar and excellent wines, tasting done today managed in an exemplary way by the girl who welcomed us.Too bad for the other colleague... we had the opportunity to talk about a possible other tasting with friends and we were surprised by the way she adopted in explaining the various offers to us... not at all kind and accommodating.

Well maybe we had a bad experience on an off day but we certainly didn't feel welcome today and the prices for just a tasting are way off compared to other bodegas who don't ask anything for a tasting with free cheese. 20 eur for the basic wines and 35 eur for the reservas. We took the reservas. 3 wines to taste, where you get a really small amount to evaluate the very expensive wines. First 70 eur, second 80 eur and third 130 eur the bottle. This of course you aren't told upfront. When we asked to do the other tasting with more affordable wines they directly said we needed to pay for it which we intended to do but the way it was told was more like a demand and even like it was a bother for her to serve other wines. We really didn't feel comfortable the way the women spoke to us. I've done lots of wine tastings and this has been for sure one of the worst.

We were at this winery a few days ago. We were warmly welcomed and told many interesting stories about viticulture and the landscape. The wine tasting was very tasty. We are looking forward to drinking the wines we bought at home.

Beautiful tasting experience with a visit to the very particular cellar even if small, led by Sonia who is very good at interesting explanations... I was struck by the Valpolicella Classico Superiore Sedese Doc, a must try!

Small winery on the Negrar hills (east side)The visit was very pleasant both for the excellent welcome from the very kind and well-trained staff of the cellar itself, and for what concerns the great quality of the wines offered for tasting, with the addition of a few small extras not agreed upon during the reservation.I would have expected a slightly lower price when purchasing the wines directly on site, but the same price can also be found on some specialized sites.Regardless, it's an excellent five-star experience!If you're in the area it's worth dropping by.

I can only leave 5 stars for our experience at Agricola Franchini.Very warm welcome, visit of the very beautiful vineyard and cellar and always accompanied by the precious explanations of Sonia, who was very kind right from the start (she also made sure that our dog had water, it may seem like a small gesture, but it does not it's for everyone).The tasting was just as wonderful, tasting great wines and understanding more what lies behind the philosophy of this small winery.We will long remember this wonderful location in the heart of Valpolicella, but above all the people who welcomed us with so much genuineness and passion for what they do.Until next time!

I visited this beautiful place with my sister and my dog. The welcome was wonderful from the first moment. Sonia guided us and a couple to visit the vineyards and the cellar. We then tasted 6 wines. What can I say, one wine better than the other, accompanied by a lot of passion and explanations that have made an already perfect setting even more unique. Thanks for the hospitality, it is rare to find people so sincere and happy to convey their passion. Stunning location, wine that left us speechless! We can't wait to go back. As a tour guide I have stopped by Franchini a certain number of times and every time I feel better. The location is phenomenal and has an incredible historical value. The girls who explain are all great, I won't mention names so as not to annoy anyone but I assure you that whoever you are with will find competence, professionalism and sympathy. But can we talk about wine? Their IGT is already a top wine and both the 2015 and 2016 Amarone deserve more than a tasting. I can not wait to come back .

This was such an amazing experience - Sonia was amazing in explaining the family tradition surrounding the wine and then had us feel like we were actually sitting at someone's table at home while tasting their amazing Amarone Riserva wines!And to add to this, the wine is simply amazing ❤️

Franchini combines tradition and modern in a great way so that no matter which bottle you choose from they all are magnificent. Definitely start with the classic valpolicella red as it already is amazing and a little lighter on alcohol - perfect for a aperitif during warm weather. The amarone riserva is very limited and a must - vintage 2013 stood out for us! Make sure you do the cellar tour with lovely family staff!! a must go hidden diamond in the village of Negrar

What a fantastic visit. The place is amazing, the staff super friendly and th3 wine is delicious.We learnt loads about the area, the place and the wine from our host. The local cheese and meats were definitely worth the extra 5 euros.We were sad to leave, but took a takeaway:)

We spend half afternoon in this amazing family winery! We had the opportunity to participate in the vendemmia process, to see the winery and taste the amazing wines they produce. The owner is super friendly and made us feel completely at home.A place to visit !!
